By registering my interest am I guaranteed an entry into the Brighton Marathon?

No, you will not be guaranteed an entry in Brighton Marathon. By registering your interest you will have the opportunity to purchase a general entry when entries reopen at 8am on Monday October 22nd. Places will be limited.

Is it a ballot?

No. Entries will open on 22nd October 2018 and you will receive an email with information and instructions on how to enter 48 hours ahead of entries opening. Places will be first come, first served.

How do I know if my 'register your interest' has been successful?

If you have completed the register your interest form you will receive an email confirming this, please check your spam and junk folders if you do not think you have received this.

When will I receive instructions of how to enter?

If you have completed the Register Your Interest form you will receive an email with your entry information and instructions by 4pm on Friday 19th October. If you haven’t received your entry information by that time, please don’t worry. Simply email the team at office@brightonmarathon.co.uk and someone will be in touch with your registration information on either that Friday afternoon or the morning of the 22nd October.

How much will entries cost?

Entry price will be included in the email sent out 48 hours ahead of entries opening. You are not obliged to enter if you register your interest.

When will entries open?

Entries will open online, on 22nd October BUT you must have registered your interest prior to this in order to receive your unique entry information for a chance to secure a place when they open.

Why do you close entries and then reopen them?

Entries close in the early summer to allow our charities an exclusive period to recruit people to run for them and raise much needed funds.
