The 2022 BM Ride will take place on Sunday 10th April 2022 at 6.45am in Preston Park.
You will be sent full Participant Instructions ahead of the event containing everything you need to know, from Start Procedure to Rider Pack Collection.
BM Ride is for all types of cyclist. Take part on your road bike, mountain bike, folding bike … it’s up to you.
Taking part in the BM ride but don’t have a reliable bike? Why not team up with Cycle Brighton who have a wide range of bikes to hire to suit all levels of cyclist. If you’re not sure what type of bike you want to use – road or hybrid- come along to their hire centre and discuss your requirements with their friendly staff.
There are restrictions on some types of bikes you can use. Please check our FAQS to find out which bikes are forbidden for health and safety reasons.
When you sign up you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code, confirming your place.
Please keep this safe and file it, as you will need it to collect your Race Pack. You can bring a printed version or have it on your mobile phone.
It will also be re-sent before the event.
You can change most of your personal details on your account by accessing your account via: https://raceroster.com. Once logged in, please select the drop down in the top right corner, and then ‘Participant Dashboard’, from here you can update your details.
Rider Pack Collection
All participants in the BM Ride must collect their Rider Packs from the Brighton Marathon Weekend Beach Village on Brighton Beach on Friday 8th or Saturday 9th April 2022. Your pack will contain your identification wrist band and bike number.
You will also collect your official BM Ride garment (TBC item).Find out more

Park and Ride
We provide a park and ride service, where you can park your car and ride to the start as well as being collected from the finish. Information and booking opens early 2022.READ MORE
We send all participants regular e-newsletters. These contain helpful advice articles as well as event updates on a range of topics including essential information such as Participant Instructions, maps, event status, travel, park & ride and medical information. We advise that all participants receive these but you can opt out from them if you wish. If you do opt out and decide you would like to opt back in, please email [email protected]
If you need accommodation for the Brighton Marathon Weekend, we recommend you book well in advance to secure a room at the best rates as the city gets very busy over event weekend.
Web sites like booking.com often have some great deals. Or why not look for an AirBNB or private rental and enjoy a home from home?
Please make sure you plan your travel well in advance for stress-free experience and so that you are ready for Race Day.

No matter your experience or ability, please take time to read our medical advice before you begin your training. It’s important to not only assess your physical ability, but to find out more about energy supplements, fluids, fuel and whether any medications may have an impact on your training.
This will be made available to all entrants closer to the event.
It is not possible to defer BM Ride places.
