What does registering my interest mean?

By registering your interest you will have an exclusive chance to sign up for the 2021 Brighton Marathon when entries reopen. Only people who sign up to the registered interest list will have the opportunity to purchase a general entry when we reopen.

By registering my interest am I guaranteed an entry into the Brighton Marathon?

No, you will not be guaranteed an entry in Brighton Marathon. By registering your interest you will have the opportunity to purchase a general entry when entries reopen on the 6th November at 8am. Places will be limited.

What period will the register your interest be open?

You will be able to Register Your Interest from 10am on Friday the 4th September until 12noon on Wednesday 4th November.

How do I register my interest, do I have to pay anything?

Please click here to Register Your Interest. No payment is required. You will only be asked to pay if you purchase one of our limited entries when entries reopen on the 6th November.

Is it a ballot?

No. You will receive an email with information and instructions on how to enter on the 4th November. Places will be first come, first served.


How do I know if I have registered my interest successfully?

If you have successfully completed the form, you will receive a confirmation email from Race Roster. Please check your spam and junk folders if you do not think you have received this.

When will I receive instructions of how to enter?

If you have completed the Register Your Interest form you will receive an email with your entry information and instructions on Wednesday 4th November. If you haven’t received your entry information by 4pm on Wednesday, please email the team at office@brightonmarathon.co.uk and we will be in touch prior to entries opening at 8am on Friday.

How much will entries cost?

Entry price will be included in the email sent prior to entries opening. You are not obliged to enter if you register your interest.

When will entries open?

Entries will open here, on Friday 6th November at 8am BUT you must have registered your interest prior to this in order to receive your unique entry information for a chance to secure one of our limited entries.

Why do you close entries and then reopen them?

Entries close in the early summer to allow our charities an exclusive period to recruit people to run for them and raise much needed funds.
