Can I use my iPod or similar device on race day?

Please do not use a personal music-playing device whilst participating in this event.

It is important that you are able to hear what is happening around you; this is particularly important for you to be aware of the people around you in order to maintain social distancing. It is also vital to allow the emergency services and their vehicles to operate safely on the day which they may not be able to do if you are unable to hear what is happening around you throughout the event.

You will be held strictly and solely liable if found to be responsible for any harm to yourself or any third party or parties or damage to any property (whether yours or that of a third party) which arises as a result of you wearing any personal music playing device in contradiction of this advice.

Do you have a mobile app for the event?

The mobile app will be available to download closer to the event from Google Play and the iTunes store. Please search for Brighton Marathon Weekend. Your supporters will be able to track your progress around the route, keep up to date on all event news, and find lots of spectator information.

Can I attend the event as a spectator?

There may be restrictions surrounding spectators at the event due to Covid-19.

I would like to volunteer at the event, how can I apply?

Can I buy official Brighton Marathon Weekend clothing / merchandise?

Official merchandise will be available to purchase closer to the event. However, you can still buy our non-dated Performance Range featuring the Brighton Marathon Weekend logo here.

How sustainable is the event?

We try to be as sustainable as we can be in the production of the Brighton Marathon Weekend. Read more about our efforts here. 

How do I book a massage?

Massages will be available to book for Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September, taking place within the Brighton Marathon Weekend Beach Village. You will be able to book massage slots closer to the event.

Will there be a Park & Ride service?

We provide a Park & Ride service for participants and their accompanying spectators. More information is available here.

When is the Brighton Marathon Weekend?

The 2021 Brighton Marathon Weekend will take place from Friday 10th September to Sunday 12th September 2021.

What is the Beach Village?

The Beach Village is a 3-day event in its own right, taking place across the entire weekend. It will open on the Friday, comprising race pack collection, retail, massage and food & drink as well as the Charity Village and big screen.
