Runners, riders and spectators can book and make use of a convenient park and ride service from car parks on the outskirts of the city to the start, and back again from the finish.
You only need to purchase one Park & Ride ticket per car regardless of how many passengers are in your car. The use of the bus is for both spectator and participant alike. No ticket is needed to board the bus, just to park your car.
Park and Ride tickets will go on sale early 2021.
LOCATIONS & OPEN TIMES
More info available early 2021.
PRELIMINARY JOURNEY TIMES
Buses will run from sites with a journey time of approx. 20-25 minutes.
Further information, including maps and bus times will be released soon.
All cars must be removed by the closing time. Any cars left past this time risk being towed.
Car Parks close after the last bus arrives from the finish.
Please note that not all Car Parks have toilets available on site.
FINISH PICKUP POINTS
Your pass for your chosen car park will be sent to you by post in the week or two prior to the event. If you do not have this you will be turned away. Please keep it safe.
If you haven’t received your pass by Wednesday 14th April 2021 please contact the team: email@example.com
WHEELCHAIRS AND BIKES
All buses and Park and Ride sites are suitable for wheelchair users. Buggies are allowed also.
Unfortunately, we CANNOT allow bicycles on the buses. If you are taking part in BM Ride, you can still purchase a space, park your car in the Park & Ride car parks, but then ride your bike down to Preston Park ahead of your start time. You will then need to ride your bike back to the Park & Ride site.
Supporters of BM Ride participants are welcome to use the buses which will drop them at Preston Park.
